Description
Job duties: To provide structured one-on-one interventions to youth and their families that are designed to ameliorate behavioral health-related conditions that prevent age-appropriate social functioning. Help ensure the youth's success in navigating various social contexts, learning new skills, and making functional progress. Offer supervision of these interactions and engage the youth in discussions about strategies for effective handling of peer and adult interactions. Support, coach, and train the youth in age-appropriate behaviors. Train, coach, and support the youth to demonstrate problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Provide linkages to recreational and social activities. Provide interventions and supports to achieve established treatment goals that are assigned as part of an integrated service team for youth.
Job Requirements: A high school diploma or GED from a state accredited school/source is required, plus 2 years of experience working with children/youth, or a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services with 1 year of experience working with children/youth. Must be proficient in word processing, excel, and other related computer skills. To meet the driving requirements, you must have a current/valid driver's license, be a minimum age of 21, and have an insurable driving record to utilize company vehicles.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, flexibility to change hours if needed. Full and part time available.
