Description

Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center is looking for kind, compassionate, and caring individuals who would like to make a difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults. Mental Health Tech positions include direct care of mentally ill or intellectually disabled individuals. Duties may include meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, personal care, medication administration, accurate and timely documentation of logbooks, activities, and transportation of clients (with an approved driving record). Paid job training is provided.

Requirements For Employment:

High School Diploma/GED/Transcripts from a state-accredited school/source. (Proof is required for employment.)
Current/valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
The minimum age for employment is 18. 21 years old, and you must have an insurable driving record if the position requires driving.
Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills.

Schedule: Multiple shift schedules are available. Will discuss further during interview.

Starting Pay Rate: $10-11+/hr. *$500 SIGN-ON BONUS at select locations. (*$500 SIGN-ON BONUS - The employee will receive half after completing orientation, and the remaining half after six months of employment. )
