We have Masters level professional staff that offer outpatient
assessment and counseling for adults. Treatement needs and available
services are reviewd and a treatment plan is developed to address
those identifed needs. Process and educational group therapy as
well as individual therapy are offered. For those clients with
severe mental illness or medial conditions who are unable to come
into the office for services, we offer a community outreach program.
Physicians, vocational services and other agencies in the community
make regerrals for our services in addition to self-referrals.
Individuals who need more intensive treatment services are referred
to our day treatment program and or inpatient treatment. Some
individuals may need more intensive or specialized services to
address their mental health needs and Walker County offers three
levels of day treatment to appropriatly address those needs.
